Pastor Nellie Bio
Pastor Nellie was born in a classical Pentecostal household and was reared by God-fearing parents who had a deep and sincere love for God.
At an early age in life, Nellie, along with her husband, who is a well known South African evangelist and Pastor, Dr Fred Roberts, felt the call of God on their lives and went into the ministry.
After, completing Bible College with the Full Gospel Church of God, in South Africa and Ordained with a Bachelor of Theology, Fred & Nellie Roberts pioneered numerous Churches in and throughout Africa. Later, she completed her Masters Degree in Christian Counselling from Christian International University USA,
Nellie is the co-founder and senior minister of the Durban Christian Centre, one of the largest charismatic fellowships in South Africa
In 1979, Nellie founded the womans ministry of the Durban Christian Centre and called it "Women Who Care".
She is a competent speaker and focuses on ministering to women, challenging them to a place of excellence in all areas of life and ministry. It has always been her greatest privilege and pleasure, encouraging women in Gods Word and then seeing their advancement in spiritual growth, fulfilling their destinies.
Nellie has travelled the world alongside her husband, supporting him in global evangelism and the development of the church. She has deep insight into the dual role of wife, mother, grand-mother and ministry. She has raised four children and has a great spiritual resource when it comes to family matters.
